  Uwe Müller-Fabian, born 1947 in the German Black Forest, degree in architectural and advertising design from Berlin University of Fine Arts, study of archaeology. Round-the-world trip 1973-77, working as sailor, construction labourer, film extra, night-watchman, textile designer, shipyard hand, detective, dish washer. Back in Berlin from 1978 onwards. Freelance work in design, architecture and film business, set and scene-painter.Further studies in painting and sculpture 1981-84 at Berlin University of Fine Arts. Won several awards and bursaries, contract work, publication of works catalogue.Daughter Zora born 1991 in Bremen. Purchased a farm in the village of Vehlefanz, north of Berlin. Lived and worked in Bremen 1992-93. Moved to Vehlefanz in 1993. Married Dr. Susanne Halbeisen. Built new studio in Vehlefanz. Son maximilian born 1997.
